Student with a testing kitYou can undertake a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in any area of earth or environmental science.

Our interests are broad, from geosciences to geographical sciences to land and water management, with a focus on high quality, publishable science.

A PhD is a program of independent, supervised research assessed solely on the basis of a thesis that is examined externally.   A doctoral thesis must be a substantial and original contribution to knowledge of the subject with which it deals.
